When the major labels paid them no attention, they founded their own. In 1982, in a flat on Calle Zabaleta, in the Prosperidad district, an independent label was born so that its founders could release their own records. Long before anyone here spoke of “indie”, Madrid already had its independents. The Zabaleta wears the blue of four in the morning, the hour of making plans, and on its seconds markers the periwinkle of the blue hour that follows
