THE MANIFESTO
“This collection is dedicated to those who descend into the sea with every breath counted and a watch upon the wrist”
INDIEWATCH · INDIE/ATELIER
Turn it as though it were in your hand: the 38 mm steel case, the bezel with its 60 scallops, the crown bearing the butterfly and the Tritón engraved on the caseback

Tritón I · Restinga and TabarcaSteel case · Ø 38 mmRotating bezel with 60 scallopsSapphire · 300 mSuper-LumiNova on indices, hands and bezel
THE DIAL
Eleven applied indices filled with Super-LumiNova: trapezoids at 12 and 6 o’clock, a rectangle at 9 and eight dots. An hour hand inspired by the trident of the figure whose name the watch bears, Tritón
The minute track encircles the dial on a slope, like the banking of a velodrome. In the window at 3 o’clock, black numerals on white, all save the 8, a most particular nod

The dive watch was made to count minutes beneath the waves: a rotating bezel, indices that glow in the dark and a case built to withstand the pressure. What works in the depths works just as well on the street, in the city, every day

Time, in every breath

DIVING IN SPAIN · 1602 → 2026
In August 1602, in Valladolid, a man descended to the bed of the Pisuerga in a leather suit and a valved mouthpiece invented by Jerónimo de Ayanz. After an hour, the king ordered him to surface, and from the depths the diver replied that he was quite well and had no wish to come up so soon
In 1859, in Barcelona, Narcís Monturiol launched the Ictíneo, a wooden vessel built for working beneath the water. In 1888, Isaac Peral’s electric submarine was launched in San Fernando, and in 1957, off Cartagena, Eduard Admetlla descended to one hundred metres breathing compressed air
Around the Medes Islands, Tabarca and La Restinga, fishing has long since ceased, and in the wake of the fish came the divers. The Tritón I takes its names from two of these reserves, one in each sea
THE TWO DIALS
Two marine reserves, one in each sea. Each dial keeps the time of its own: in La Restinga, one hour behind, as throughout the Canary Islands
