The Trencadís Collection borrows its very gesture from the master Gaudí: reassembling the fragment until the broken piece becomes a living surface. On the dial, the broken tesserae, sculpted and inlaid by hand, converse with the cushion-shaped case in 316L stainless steel finished in 24 ct gold plating: Mediterranean architecture upon the wrist.
One hundred years after the master’s passing, this first edition — eight worlds, one crown — marks the centenary and pays tribute to the creator who ushered in the era of modernisme.
TrencadísConstruction
316L stainless steel cushion case with polished 24 K gold plating. Flat sapphire crystal. Dial composed of ceramic fragments set upon golden veins, in the “trencadís” technique. Domed hands, aligned with the cut of the tesserae. Automatic mechanical movement. An architecture in which human ingenuity brings order to the broken and returns it as art.

A century after the master
On 10 June 1926, Antoni Gaudí was crossing the Gran Vía when a tram changed the history of modernisme. A hundred years on, his walls are breathing still: trencadís — fragments of ceramic restored to life — remains our vocabulary.
The technique was born in Park Güell around 1900: broken pieces of tile, glass and porcelain — the workshop’s discards — recomposed into surfaces that seem like living skin. This is Gaudí’s first lesson: nothing is lost, everything is ordered anew.
IndieWatch takes this gesture and carries it to the dial. Every face is a fragment of that way of seeing: the small piece, the light reflected across a thousand angles, gold running like a vein. Soulmade — pieces crafted one by one, like fragments with a soul.
