The cushion case transcends its mere role as a container. Its profiles, robust yet softened, rest upon the wrist with natural poise; every angle has been rounded and polished so that the piece glides without friction beneath the cuff of an Egyptian cotton shirt. THE DIAL
The clean cut
At the heart of the dial, the counterpoint: hands and applied indices shaped like a sharpened teardrop, reminiscent of the tip of a stiletto or of a master tailor’s needle. A taut, keen and piercing geometry that marks the passing of time with the precision of a clean cut.
All around, a calculated emptiness. No sub-dials, no date window, no distractions. Only the sunburst finish and the graduated hues, shifting with the angle of the light like the heavy silk of a necktie.

The gown that gave the watch its name
Around 1907, at the Palazzo Orfei in Venice, Mariano Fortuny and Henriette Negrin created the Delphos gown: a hand-pleated silk tunic, inspired by the chiton of the Charioteer of Delphi, which fell freely over the body and freed women from the corset.
Its fine, silken pleating was achieved through a patented technique that no one has ever managed to match. Murano glass beads adorned the sleeves and neckline, at once ornament and counterweight to ensure a flawless drape. Fortuny understood, before anyone else, that light is a material: his dyes and textures shifted with every movement.
The Delphos Series 193 takes up that legacy. The dials shift in tone with every turn of the wrist, like the pleating of the tunic; the sharp geometry of the indices and hands recalls the tailor’s needle. A watch built with the rigour of an architect and the sensibility of a couturier.
