The Strait of Gibraltar is a geographical funnel: a corridor where mythology placed the Pillars of Hercules and where the terrain accelerates the wind until it becomes a physical mass, hard and tangible. Tarifa was born as a fishing outpost lashed by storms, but in the 1980s a tribe of windsurfing pioneers discovered that this climatic anomaly was the ultimate canvas.
